Winston Churchill once said, "To improve is to change;                                to be perfect is to change often."

That is what is happening at Savant Software. While the perfect thing is not something we ever expect to obtain, the fun part of the journey is to strive for perfection.

A little about where we have been together: Savant has built, from the ground up, a robust Microsoft based Supply Chain solution (not just WMS) that we have implemented over many ERP platforms. With your help we have been able to empower distributors and manufacturers, such as yourself, to gain efficiency and enable growth. We have strived to bring unprecedented customer support and have strived to meet your ever changing business environment.

Now, a little about the change already implemented and soon to take place- first the management change at the top. In September I joined the Savant executive management team as President. For those who do not know me, I have been in the Supply Chain industry since 1978 and most recently in the Great Plains/Microsoft channel since 1997. I was the founder and President of Maximum Data Solutions until it was acquired by Accellos in 2007. I have been fortunate to spearhead many Supply Chain initiatives with vendors (software and hardware) and universities. My role at Savant will be to bring vision and presence in both the channel and in Microsoft as well as continue to provide leadership and integrity.

We are also continuing to grow our leadership position in our software both through certifications (CfMD) and building on our modular suite of products for the Supply Chain industry. We will expand on our already accomplished staff of sales, development, and implementation, bringing more domain expertise to the marketplace.

There are also the minor changes, such as new corporate logo. These are just some of the highlights of our change, and we would love to share these and others in an effort to explain how you will be affected in a positive way. We hope you will embrace our changes moving forward and we will make every effort to continue to offer the support you have become accustomed to receiving.

I can't tell you how great it is to be back, and I look forward to renewing old friendships and starting new ones.
